Pre-cast Concrete Lift Stations

American Concrete, five years ago, embarked on an idea that residential lift stations did not properly meet all codes that are required.  Although most states don't enforce some of these codes as they should, we feel it was our responsibility to make the system as simple as possible for the contractor/homeowner to install and maintain.  Our first idea was to insure that all electrical cables from the home to the lift station meet the electrical codes in Maine.  We started furnishing our lift stations with direct burial multi-conductor 12ga. wire.  This allows the contractor to bury the cable and not have any soil and moisture deterioration from  minerals in the ground.  Our next step was to make sure that every station delivered was always setup the same way and in a controlled manner.

In 1990, we started manufacturing our 1000 gallon septic tanks with the seam at the top.  This year completes the process so that all of the septic tanks we produce are one piece units.  Lift Stations are precast into the same forms that we use for septic tanks, these sizes are:

• 750 Gallon Lowboy

• 1000 Gallon Regular

• 1000 Gallon Lowboy

• 1500 Gallon Regular

• 2000 Gallon Regular

Inside a NEW lift station sump with plastic risers

American Concrete installs and distributes high quality pumps manufactured by Goulds pumps.  Goulds pumps are manufactured with a complete cast iron housing.  The standard model PE51M, 120 volt single phase pump, comes with 1/2HP, split capacitor motor.  This pump has a shutoff of 37' TDH.
